| When applying for a job online, some employers will ask you to submit a .txt (plain text) formated resume. You might be thinking, "But it looks ugly". Don't worry, HR people aren't likely to look at it. It's probably going to end up getting scanned and parsed by a computer. A .txt formated resume is much easier to feed into a computer than a Word formatted resume. Make sure your .txt formatted resume contains plenty of keywords (See previous idea). |
